Job Description

Fireplace Installer Assistant Indianapolis, IN | $18-$20/hr | Direct Hire We're hiring a Fireplace Installer Assistant for a hands-on role with a well-established building materials distributor and installer. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction, roofing, HVAC, warehouse, mechanical, carpentry, or general labor experience who wants to learn a skilled trade and grow quickly. What you'll do: Assist lead installers with fireplace installations Load, unload, inspect, and move products/materials Report to the shop each morning for local Greater Indy work orders Work on ladders, roofs, and chimneys daily Follow jobsite safety, paperwork, photo, and customer service procedures What we're looking for: Comfortable with heights Mechanically inclined and hands-on Able to lift heavy materials, up to 125 lbs Good attitude, reliable, and willing to get dirty Interested in long-term growth
Comp/Perks:
$18-$20/hr Overtime available, many work around 45 hours/week Health, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k) Growth path into Installer, with pay increase, bonus, and company vehicle after promotion
