As a Commercial Glass Installer on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include: Installing glass to meet industry standards at commercial properties Reading and understanding blueprints and specifications for necessary work details Following precautions to ensure safe handling of glass and materials Operating company vehicle safely and responsibly Completing jobs within the scheduled time frames Bring your skills and achieve success. (Required qualifications) Prior glass experience preferred. Experience in carpentry or related trades required. Proficient use of hand tools Carpentry related skills (accurately reading a tape measure, safely using power tools, ability to read blueprints, excellent coordination, knowledge of basic construction math) Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including strong customer service and phone skills Ability and willingness to perform 24-hour emergency and work in all weather conditions Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws.
Education :
High school diploma or GED Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 75 pounds Bring your work ethic and gain stability.
