Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will oversee window installation projects from start to finish, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency on every job site. As a leader in the field, you will coordinate with team members, and deliver exceptional craftsmanship that enhances our clients' spaces. Your expertise in construction, fabrication, and installation will drive project success and customer satisfaction. Duties Lead and supervise window installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installations Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and install windows, frames, trim, and fixtures Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for window and glass installation on various construction sites Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects within specifications Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation of windows, doors, cabinetry, and related fixtures Apply caulking, painting, and finishing techniques to ensure a polished appearance and weather-tight seal Manage on-site materials fabrication or manufacturing processes when necessary for custom window solutions Troubleshoot issues related to metal stud framing, drywall, or structural components impacting window installation Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety compliance logs, and project reports Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, or remodeling projects involving windows or glass installations Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, fixture installation, cabinet hanging, trim carpentry, and construction painting Strong knowledge of schematics and technical drawings for accurate execution of projects Experience with fabrication or manufacturing processes related to custom window components Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in diverse construction environments Hands-on experience with caulking techniques and door hanging procedures Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting structural or framing issues during installation Demonstrated handyman skills across various remodeling tasks including fixture setup and metal framing Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and project stakeholders Valid experience in construction site management with a focus on safety compliance Has to have a Vehicle as we travel out of town at some point/ once hired on as lead installer work truck might be provided.
