Installation, carpentry, or construction (2 years preferred)

We sell and install custom window coverings throughout South Charlotte, Pineville, Matthews, and Waxhaw. We are looking for a skilled installer to provide quality, professional installations for our customers in both residential and commercial applications. Installation is one of the most important points in the sale of our products, as this is where our customers see their vision come to life. A quality installation will make or break that customer's perception of our company as well as the North American Budget Blinds brand. We provide training for our installation procedures and techniques; however, we are looking for an Installer who can: Perform installations of blinds, shades, shutters, and other custom window coverings Perform repairs on a variety of window coverings Clean behind your work to the same or better level of cleanliness when your arrived Maintain Proper Installation paperwork Use provided digital check in system to keep warehouse deliveries, projects, and extra materials up to date and organized Pass background, drug, and driving record checks - Including random drug testing (insurance requirement) Complete any other tasks as assigned To be considered, please have the following background and skills: Demonstrated experience in proper use of hand-held power tools and wall fasteners, including cordless drills, screw drivers, wall anchors, etc. Basic carpentry skills, as we fasten into drywall, wood, metal, and concrete Prior experience working independently to provide excellent service to customers Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th of an inch Ability to climb a ladder up to a 20-foot reach Able to lift 75 lbs. Be punctual and dependable Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry Valid NC/SC driver's license and clean driving record (you will be driving/parking a company van) Professional appearance and positive disposition Excellent verbal communication skills to communicate problems/solutions to customers, sales consultants, and management Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills We are a tobacco, alcohol, and drug free company (including smoking/vaping of any kind).
