Responsibilities Carefully remove old or damaged window components, including glass, frames, and hardware, with precision and safety. Clean and prepare surfaces using professional cleaning techniques to ensure optimal restoration results. Repair or replace window parts such as sashes, glazing, and muntins to restore functionality and appearance. Operate specialized equipment like scissor lifts to access high or hard-to-reach windows safely. Apply protective coatings or finishes to enhance durability and match original aesthetics. Collaborate with project managers and clients to assess restoration needs and provide expert recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to janitorial and custodial standards throughout each project. Requirements Hands-on experience with window restoration or similar carpentry/repair skills is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in restoration projects. Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working at heights over extended periods. Knowledge of safety protocols related to working at heights and operating machinery. A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. Ability to read a tape measure and operate various wood working and hand tools. A strong work ethic and focus on being production minded. The ability to envision what the final outcome of a finished product should look like. Duties include some carpentry, paint removal and various other duties related to window restoration. License and transportation Honesty and integrity The ability to follow directions and maintain quality and production standards The ability to take direction and be trained. The candidate should also have basic hand tools and cordless tools or the ability to get them. Being on time and reliable. This is a 1099 contract position. Pay is based on experience.

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
