Glass Technician

• High school diploma McDowell Glass & Mirror is seeking to add to its team with the addition of a Glass Technician.

Applicants must be hard working, reliable, have attention to detail, work with precision and take pride in their workmanship. Glass technicians use specialized tools to cut glass and mirror and are expected to work at a level that meets customer and fabrication demand. Position requires working well with others in a shop setting and will occasionally interact directly with customers. Professionality and a clean appearance as well as a general knowledge about glass products is necessary. Position will include working in the shop as well as working in the field. In shop duties will include commercial metal fabrication, rescreening, glass/mirror cutting, RV glass installation, loading/unloading of trucks and 5S activities. Field duties will include installation of shower doors, mirrors, commercial storefronts and general window repair. Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 7:30-5:00 and Friday 7:30-11:30. Wage is dependent on experience. McDowell Glass & Mirror has been in business for over 30 years and is a local, family-owned glass company. We specialize in Commercial Storefronts, Custom Shower Doors and Mirrors.
