Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glazier/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and related fixtures across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise in glass installation, framing, and finishing will ensure that each project meets our high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in fabrication and installation, and contribute to transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Duties Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, doors, mirrors, and other glazing components according to project specifications. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans. Utilize hand tools such as chisels, screwdrivers, and levels as well as power tools including drills, saws, and grinders to complete installations efficiently. Perform heavy lifting of glass sheets and framing materials safely using appropriate equipment. Install door hanging systems to support glazing projects. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency of installed units. Conduct remodeling tasks including construction repairs as needed on-site. Skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in glass installation and carpentry work. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution. Skilled in fabrication techniques within manufacturing or construction environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique. Knowledge of caulking methods for weatherproofing is a plus. Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols; ability to work efficiently in various site conditions. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
