About the Role DRIVN Auto Services is seeking a motivated and easily teachable Paint Protection Film (PPF) assistant Installer to join our growing team. This role is for a new installer with little to no experience to be assisting with the application of paint protection film on a wide range of high end or luxury vehicles. You will be responsible for making sure you and the lead installer have all equipment/tools needed for the day (day prior), you will be prepping panels thoroughly and in all edges/gaps ensuring no dirt/debri, responsible for damage check for installing or touching the vehicle you will note any damage, chips, paint flaws etc You Will also be assisting lead installer through the install with any task required and eventually be installing pre-cut film plotted with an expiernced lead installer at contracted dealerships/sites throughout New Jersey. You will be trained on using a plotter to cut out the PPF according to each vehicle panel (day/night prior to install).Our standard is simple:
clean installs, wrapped edges, minimal stretch, and little to no debris makes a great job! The magic is in the Prep! We provide a fully equipped mobile service vehicle, film, tools, and products. You'll be responsible for ensuring your vehicle is stocked and ready prior to each job that includes letting leads/managers know about supplies when running low on inventory at storage. If you have the right attitude, we will continue developing your skills to the next level as you move up and grow with our growing company. What You'll Do Install with precision and attention to detail Properly prep vehicles (clay, decontaminate, panel prep) Use plotter software and/or hand-cut techniques (training provided) Perform quality control inspections before vehicle delivery Maintain a clean, organized work environment Keep your mobile unit stocked and job-ready daily Represent DRIVN professionally at dealership locations What We're Looking For ✔ Positive attitude & strong work ethic ✔ Ability to work well with others ✔ Reliable transportation to get to dispatch location ✔ Physically able to stand, bend, and work around vehicles ✔ Willingness to grow into a difficult/ advanced service Window tint, vinyl wrap, or detail/ceramic coating experience is a plus (not required).
