Handy Helper

We are seeking a handy helper to help with Window Coverings (blinds, curtains, shades, shutters, etc.) installations. If you have any residential handy experience (being handyman, cabinet installer, etc.) and are able to drive cargo vans, this job will be a fit for you. Job Overview As a handy helper, you will be responsible for driving cargo vans with our lead installer to go on customer appointments and help with measuring, preparing, and installing a wide range of window treatments for our clients. Responsibilities

• Drive commercial Cargo vans to customer locations
• Help with measurements
• Help with installations (unboxing, cleaning up after the job, holding ladders, etc.)
• Help with perform in-home measurements and installations of window treatment products including blinds, roller/solar shades, Roman shades, shutters and drapery.
• Remove existing window coverings and prepare surfaces for new installations.
• Replace damaged components and perform necessary repairs on existing window treatments as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after installations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and building regulations during installations. Requirements
• Full drivers license, Clean driving record and ability to drive in NYC areas
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to use tape measure and power tools including power drill, impact driver and level
• Experience with multiple types of fasteners, anchors and drill bits
• Proven ability and experience accurately measuring within 1/8 with manual tape measure and laser measurers
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on ladders for extended periods
• Ability to pass background check
