SURF GLASS
Surf Glass is an installation and glass repair service company specializing in both residential and commercial properties from window repairs and shower doors to new construction projects. Surf Glass has been serving the community since 1953.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a hands-on Glazier/Installer with experience cutting and installing all variations of glass for current and future projects. This individual should have the ability to work safely and carefully as well as measure with precision. This role will service both residential and commercial customers to provide accurate estimates. This is a unique role for those looking to continue in glasswork with the opportunity to advance within a fast-growing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation of glass including windows, doors, skylights, and storefront units Fabricating insulated units Cutting glass and mirrors into various shapes and sizes Applying sealants to ensure safety and security of builds Utilization of specialized tools to cut and polish glass Frequent use of measuring tools to take precise measurements Clear communication internally and with customers to gather proper information for estimates Support various company projects, as needed Job tasks will not be limited to the above and may evolve over time
COMPETENCIES 5-7
years of experience as a glazier or glass installer Ability to measure accurately and precisely Ability to work in a team environment and work independently when required Strong customer service skills with the capability to communicate clearly and effectively High sense of responsibility, urgency and motivated to complete tasks Exceptional attention to detail to provide quality work Strong listening skills with the willingness to take instruction to execute Valid driver's license required Requires ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift ~50lbs as needed
COMPENSATION
Hourly pay range: $30•$40/hour•this does not include yearly raises and annual bonus Medical, dental, vision benefits and 401k available Weekly payroll and paid travel outside of 50+ miles from HQ office (lodging, transportation and other)

$30.00•$40.00 per hour
