Prepare openings by framing or modifying existing structures using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques. Install windows, glass panels, fixtures, and related components with precision and care, ensuring proper fit and finish. Perform caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing to enhance insulation and durability of installations. Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting and positioning large window units or glass panels. Fabricate custom window frames or glass pieces as needed in the workshop or on-site to meet project specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment skillfully to assemble and install various components efficiently. Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and debris removal while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on window or glass installation projects. Familiarity with construction estimating processes for project planning and material procurement. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, levels, as well as power tools like pneumatic nailers or grinders. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings relevant to window installation. Background in fabrication or manufacturing environments involving metal or wood framing is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with remodeling tasks including drywall finishing, painting preparation, or handyman duties is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during precise installations.
