Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Window and Door Install Helper, where your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the construction industry, assisting with the installation of windows and doors on residential and commercial projects. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience, develop your skills in various construction trades, and be part of a collaborative environment focused on quality and safety. Duties Assist with the safe handling, measurement, and installation of windows and doors according to project specifications and blueprints Support the setup of scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment necessary for installation tasks Use hand tools and power tools to prepare openings, trim, and secure fixtures efficiently Help with the removal of old windows and doors, ensuring proper disposal or recycling procedures are followed Collaborate with team members to ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and quality expectations Read schematics and blueprints to understand installation requirements and project layouts Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and debris regularly Requirements Prior construction site experience or familiarity with construction trades such as carpentry or framing is preferred Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication skills Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks Experience with related skills such as caulking, trim carpentry, glass installation, fixture installation, or remodeling is a plus but not required Willingness to learn new skills in construction management, estimating, inspection or other trades as needed Join us in building quality spaces while advancing your career in the construction industry!
