In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial glass systems, ensuring safety, quality, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels and windows according to project specifications and blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete glass installation and related carpentry tasks. Read schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to accurately execute window and glass system installations. Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and framing materials safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Apply caulking, sealants, and trim carpentry techniques to ensure weather-tight seals and finished appearances. Install fixtures, cabinets, doors, metal studs, and other related components as part of remodeling or renovation projects. Conduct site assessments to determine material needs, estimate project costs through construction estimating skills, and coordinate with team members for seamless execution. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating to accurately gauge project scope and resources needed. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication machinery for precise installation work. Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques along with experience in fixture installation, cabinet mounting, door hanging, and trim carpentry. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings confidently for accurate project execution. Experience with metal stud framing, remodeling projects, construction painting, handyman tasks, and general carpentry skills. Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with excellent hand-eye coordination for detailed work. Familiarity with schematics related to fixtures or structural elements; ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
