In this energetic role, you will assist experienced window installers in preparing, handling, and installing windows and related materials on construction sites. Your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic will contribute to delivering high-quality results for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction, glass installation, and remodeling while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and safety. Responsibilities Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of windows, glass panels, and framing materials using hand tools and power tools. Support the measurement, cutting, fabrication, and assembly of window components according to schematics and blueprints. Help with the installation of windows, doors, trim carpentry, fixtures, cabinets, and metal stud framing on various construction sites. Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, caulking joints, and applying construction painting as needed to ensure quality finishes. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, drills, and saws to assist in assembly and installation tasks. Follow safety protocols diligently while performing heavy lifting tasks and operating power tools to prevent accidents. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving drywall installation, framing, fixture hanging, and other handyman tasks. Experience Prior construction site experience or hands-on work in remodeling or carpentry is highly preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or fabrication processes is a plus. Experience with glass installation or fixture installation will be advantageous. Knowledge of construction estimating or metal stud framing can enhance your contribution to projects. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments. Previous work involving drywall finishing, door hanging, cabinetry installation or remodeling projects is beneficial. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction painting, caulking, trim carpentry and the use of hand and power tools.
