Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Window Installer and bring your expertise in construction, carpentry, and glass installation to life! In this energized role, you'll be responsible for accurately installing, repairing, and replacing windows across various commercial and residential projects. Your attention to detail and hands-on skills will ensure each window is securely fitted, properly sealed, and visually appealing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to creating beautiful, functional spaces that meet our high standards of quality. Duties Measure window openings precisely using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper fitment. Prepare work sites by performing heavy lifting, framing, metal stud framing, and demolition as needed. Use hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and fabrication equipment to install windows securely into frames or openings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to follow project specifications accurately. Install additional fixtures such as trim carpentry, cabinet components, doors, and other remodeling elements. Perform finishing tasks including construction painting, sealing with caulking, and trim carpentry for a polished look. Conduct quality checks on installed windows for proper alignment, sealing, and safety compliance while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and understanding project scopes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment essential for window installation. Strong experience with glass installation techniques and fixture mounting. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, metal stud framing, and construction drawings. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. Familiarity with remodeling processes including drywall finishing and painting. Hands-on handyman experience with a focus on carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and general repairs.
