Position Overview We're looking for an experienced Service Glazier who can handle both commercial and residential work —everything from storefront doors and glass replacements to custom installs and service calls. This is not an entry-level role. You should be able to show up, assess the situation, and execute without hand-holding. What You'll Be Doing Installation & Fabrication Measure, cut, and install glass for storefronts, doors, windows, mirrors, and custom applications Install heavy glass systems, Herculite doors, and aluminum storefront framing Work with tempered, laminated, insulated, and specialty glass Service & Repairs Diagnose and repair broken or failing glass systems Handle re-glazing, seal failures, door adjustments, and hardware issues Perform service calls efficiently with minimal callbacks Customer Interaction Communicate clearly with customers on-site Represent Econo Glass professionally Provide straightforward recommendations—no fluff Job Management Manage your own service calls and stay on schedule Coordinate with team members when needed Keep track of materials and work performed Tools & Equipment Safely operate glass tools, suction cups, power tools, etc. Maintain your equipment and take care of company tools Safety Follow OSHA and jobsite safety standards Use proper PPE and handle glass responsibly Emergency Work Respond to urgent service calls when needed (broken storefronts, board-ups, etc.) What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of real glazier experience (not just shop work) Strong knowledge of storefront systems, doors, and service work Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site Comfortable working independently Good attitude—no drama, no babysitting required Valid driver's license Bonus if you have: OSHA 10 or 30 Experience with curtain wall or high-end residential glass Strong door/hardware experience Physical Requirements Lift up to 75 lbs Work on ladders, lifts, and various jobsite conditions Handle both indoor and outdoor work in Texas weather Why Work With Us Family-owned company with 35+ years in DFW Steady pipeline of commercial and residential work Opportunity to work on high-end and complex projects No corporate nonsense—just get the job done right Room to grow if you're dependable and skilled Bottom Line If you know what you're doing, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a team that actually values skill over talk—we want to hear from you.
