In this energetic role, you will be responsible for expertly installing a variety of window coverings, including blinds, shades, shutters, and custom treatments. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will transform spaces, ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing interior aesthetics. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to showcase your construction, carpentry, and fabrication skills while working in a fast-paced environment that values precision and professionalism. Duties Measure windows accurately using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure perfect fitment of window treatments. Install a wide range of window coverings such as blinds, shades, shutters, and custom fabrications with precision and care. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and secure window treatments on-site. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions to follow installation specifications. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to transport window treatments from storage to installation sites. Collaborate with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded while providing excellent customer service during installations. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) for installation tasks. Knowledge of schematics, metal stud framing, remodeling techniques, and construction painting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations. Familiarity with fabrication processes related to manufacturing custom window treatments. Handyman experience combined with construction site experience enhances versatility on varied projects. Bilingual (Spanish-English) not required but encouraged!
