Installer Subcontractors Event:
Join us Saturday, May 23 (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) for our in‑person Pella Installer Subcontractor Partner Event and explore partnership opportunities with Pella Houston.Address:
8781 West Rd, Suite 100 Houston, TX 77064 Position Overview Pella Products of Houston is seeking experienced Installer Subcontractors to install Pella windows and doors on residential and light commercial projects. Installer Subcontractors are responsible for providing professional, high-quality installation services that meet Pella standards, job specifications, and customer expectations. This is a 1099 subcontractor position. Scope of Work Installer Subcontractors will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Install windows and doors according to Pella installation guidelines, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes Remove existing windows/doors and properly dispose of debris as required Ensure proper measurements, fit, alignment, sealing, insulation, and waterproofing Maintain a clean and safe jobsite throughout the installation process Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, or jobsite contacts Identify and report any jobsite concerns, damage, or discrepancies prior to and during installation Complete work within scheduled timelines and assigned scopes Perform punch-list or service-related items when required Subcontractor Requirements Proven experience installing windows and doors (Pella or comparable products preferred) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Own tools, equipment, and vehicle suitable for installation work Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor safely Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to read installation instructions, job specifications, and work orders Professional appearance and customer-service mindset Licensing, Insurance & Compliance Subcontractors must provide and maintain the following: General Liability Insurance (minimum limits as required by Pella Products of Houston) Workers' Compensation coverage or a valid exemption, as applicable Any required trade licenses, permits, or certifications Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Execution of an Independent Contractor Agreement Performance Expectations Adherence to Pella installation standards and quality requirements Timely completion of assigned jobs Professional conduct at all times on job sites Commitment to safety and proper jobsite practices Willingness to address warranty-related installation issues when applicable Compensation Paid per job, based on subcontractor pricing Payment issued upon completion and approval of work per agreement terms Independent Contractor Status Installer Subcontractors are independent contractors and not employees of Pella Products of Houston.
