Freddy's Glass Job Description We are excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Glass Glazier at Freddy's Glass. This is a wonderful opportunity for skilled individuals looking to advance their careers in a reputable and supportive environment. Located at our local office, this position cannot be performed remotely and requires the professional to be on-site during work hours. Freddy's Glass is known for its commitment to quality and excellence, providing expert installation, repair, and replacement of glass and windows in a variety of settings, with a current focus on residential projects. The successful candidate will join our team of dedicated craftspeople who pride themselves on the finest glass work in the industry. If you are a skilled Glass Glazier with a passion for craftsmanship and a track record of excellent service, we encourage you to apply for this position. Duties and Responsibilities Measure, cut, finish, fit, and install glass and mirrors in various settings, primarily residential homes. Examine and assess sites and materials before commencement of work to ensure that they meet the required specifications and safety standards. Operate tools and machinery used in glass installation and repair, including glass cutters, suction cups, drills, and grinders. Work with clients to design and create custom glass installations according to their specifications and desires. Collaborate with other contractors and craftspeople on larger renovation projects to ensure the seamless integration of glass components with other structural and design elements. Install frameworks or battens for glass installation as required and ensure proper alignment and positioning of glass panes. Apply weather sealants or putty around pane edges to seal joints. Repair or replace broken or damaged glass and mirrors in existing structures. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction with finished projects. Maintain safety standards in compliance with company policies and legal regulations to avoid accidents and injuries. Keep an organized and clean work environment both on-site and in-shop to promote efficient operations. Requirements Proven experience as a Glass Glazier, preferably in a residential setting. Strong knowledge of glass types, cutting tools, and installation techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements. Excellent physical condition and stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Commitment to working safely and maintaining a professional demeanor. Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and represent the company positively in the residential market. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients. Dedication to continuous learning and improvement in glass technology and techniques. Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and client expectations. Problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively.

Compensation:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
