Installer for Commercial and Residential window tint/Riot Glass/Roll Down Security Shutters. Best Sun Control is a growing commercial and residential window tinting and security company. We do not perform automotive window tinting, but experience in auto tinting is a major plus. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented installer that requires multiple skill sets. Hourly pay during training, then per square foot when you are able to do installs on your own. Training hours could be anywhere between 30-40 hrs per week. It is possible some weeks could be less and some weeks could be more. Additional pay details discussed during interview. Training hourly pay determined by experience. Window tint = Solar, Designer, Security, Powered Smart Film, Skylight film Riot Glass = Clear Security Panels that attach to the exterior of existing windows. Panels can range from 1/4" thick anti-Smash and Grab panels to 1 1/2" thick bullet resistant panels. Security Roll Down Shutters = Same as what you see in mall stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Install window film/Riot Glass/Security Shutters on residential and commercial buildings. Prepare glass surfaces by proper cleaning and removal of debris. Measure, cut, and apply film with precision. Measure, cut, and install Riot Glass framing and panels. Install Security Roll Down Shutters Maintain tools, equipment, and keep a clean work environment. Communicate professionally to customers regarding services and care instructions. Follow all company and job site safety procedures and protocols. Operate company vehicle with respect and in accordance to driving laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous window tinting not required, but preferred.

Other industries with preferred experience:

Automotive tinting, vinyl signage installs, Wall paper installers, Glazers, Glass installers. Experience is not required, I will train the right person without experience. Attention to detail and a steady hand for precision trimming of the window film. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer service and communication skills. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Clean driving record a plus. Some travel, typically a night or 2. Majority of work is done is SE Wisconsin. Must be familiar and comfortable with knives and power tools. Own tools are not required at the start, but over time you will be expected to acquire your own tools. Must be comfortable with heights up to 12' on a ladder/scaffolding and 30' on a scissor lift. W2 employee preferred, but 1099 is also an option.
