Southeastern Wisconsin Overview We are seeking motivated and skilled 1099 Subcontractors specializing in Window and Door Installation to join our dynamic team. Duties Install windows and doors accurately according to project specifications, blueprints, and schematics Measure openings precisely to ensure proper fitment of products Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes Perform glass installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture or cabinet installation as needed Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate smooth workflow on-site Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for each project Complete remodeling tasks such as metal stud framing, drywall finishing, painting touch-ups, and general handyman repairs Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, carpentry, and fabrication techniques Demonstrated experience with glass installation, door hanging, window framing, fixture setup, and remodeling projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements quickly Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients or project managers when necessary Prior handyman experience or construction and Knowledge of Infinity Window by Marvin is a plus Join us as a dedicated 1099 Subcontractor in Window and Door Installation!
