Approximately 3 months, with the possibility of longer-term work depending on business needs Superior Glass & Mirror is a family-owned glass company that's been serving Cheyenne and the surrounding areas for over 25 years. After losing everything in a fire last year, we're rebuilding stronger than ever, and we're looking for some extra manpower to help us through the next few months. We're hiring a temporary full-time entry-level Glazier / Glass Installer. This position is a great fit for someone who has basic construction skills, knows how to use tools, and wants to learn more about a specialized trade. We're not looking for perfect. We're looking for someone who shows up on time, pays attention, works hard, and takes pride in honest work.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting with glass installation on residential and commercial jobs Helping load, unload, and handle glass and materials safely Measuring, prepping, and helping install glass, mirrors, storefront, doors, windows, and related materials Using power tools and hand tools Working alongside experienced glaziers and learning the basics of the trade Keeping job sites and the shop clean, safe, and organized

Important Skills:

Must know how to read a tape measure. Seriously, this is a deal breaker. Basic construction knowledge is helpful Must be comfortable using power tools and hand tools Having your own tools is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn glazing techniques and follow directions

Other Requirements:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift heavy glass and materials Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding Dependable, respectful, and willing to work as part of a team Must be able to follow directions and pay attention to details A good attitude. Life's too short to work with miserable people.
