Responsibilities Measure and cut insulation materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces. Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, attics, and other designated areas following work orders. Prepare work sites by cleaning surfaces, covering floors and windows, and ensuring proper access for installation. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and modify materials as needed. Apply caulking techniques to ensure insulation is sealed properly for maximum efficiency. Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation and ensure safety protocols are followed. Qualifications Prior construction site experience with familiarity in framing, roofing, or masonry is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools such as knives, tape measures, and screwdrivers; experience with power tools like drills and saws is essential. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to fabricate or modify materials as needed. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces safely; physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
