Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Insulation Installer and become a vital part of creating energy-efficient, comfortable, and sustainable building environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials across residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Your expertise will help improve building performance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in construction and insulation techniques while contributing to high-quality projects. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools (e.g., utility knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) to accurately execute installations Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine insulation placement and specifications Prepare work sites by cleaning surfaces, framing areas, or applying caulking to ensure proper insulation adhesion and performance Collaborate with carpenters, masons, roofers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes effectively Apply finishing techniques such as trim carpentry or plastering to conceal insulation or improve aesthetic appeal where necessary Maintain safety protocols on-site by wearing protective gear and adhering to OSHA standards during all phases of installation Skills Proficiency in construction estimating to assess material needs and project scope Experience with hand tools and power tools used in insulation installation and general construction tasks Strong knowledge of construction site procedures, safety practices, and blueprint reading Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, metal stud framing, masonry, roofing, stucco, drywall finishing, and concrete work Ability to fabricate custom insulation solutions using schematics and technical drawings Familiarity with construction painting techniques and airless paint spraying equipment for finishing touches Skilled in caulking, trim carpentry, framing (including metal studs), plastering, masonry work, and drywall finishing This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise in the construction industry while making a tangible impact on building efficiency. Pay:
