Position Summary:

Preparation of detail components and assemblies using general shop tools and equipment in order to apply insulation to components and tube assemblies. Work to be performed within the documented manufacturing processes provided by the company taking direction and obtaining training from the lead assigned to the area.

Essential Responsibilities:

The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities requested by supervisor. Job duties and requirements may change as required by needs of Company. Essential Duties in Order of Priority Frequency Performed 1. Read and understand Steico drawings and mylars Daily 2. Cutting foam insulation using scissors and other tools Daily 3. Taping and masking tubes to prep for insulation and paint Daily 4. Surface scuffing of tubes for gluing foam Daily 5. Gluing and applying foam insulation to parts Daily 6. Painting insulation using air sprayer Daily 7. Operating oven to cure painted parts Daily 8. Performing touch up paint and glue after painted parts have cured Daily 9. 5's + Safety requirements Daily 10. Performing equipment maintenance Daily/Monthly 11. Using required PPE for the area Daily 12. Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Experience in the painting industry is highly beneficial. Experience working with a variety of different metals is a plus

• Experience/knowledge of equipment, machines, tools, etc: Spray guns and general shop tools
• Communication and Language skills: Must be able communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization Requires English skills both verbally and written
• Mathematical skills: Basic math skills add subtract and knowledge of the decimal system

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills

• Reasoning ability: Must be able to look at blue print and understand dimension once trained on basic blue print reading skills Ability to access facts and develop conclusions

Assembly and painting skills Detail orientated Adaptability and flexibility Work in a team environment

Supervision Received:

This position receives daily instructions from department Lead and Manager. Work is reviewed on an as needed basis depending on project or task

Must be able to make sound judgments of safe practices while working Interaction with others (internally and externally): Interacts internally with co-workers and managers on a daily basis
