Growth opportunities Safe work environment Lively atmosphere We are seeking a high-energy Spray Foam Technician, possibly someone who could move into a foreman position, to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring that our company remains committed to its core values. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, dependable, experienced, and a team-player. Reliable transportation is required for this position, and moderate travel should be expected. Candidates must be open to a flexible work schedule. Candidates will be responsible for promoting loyalty and dependability among our employees, fostering a strong and cohesive team, and maintaining a work culture characterized by trust and reliability. Our mission is to challenge the idea of ordinary insulation by joyfully aligning community, sustainability, energy retention, and comfort through wholesome persistent growth of people, product and craft.Duties:
- Ability to withstand confined spaces, that can be hot, dark, and uncomfortable
- Apply coatings, such as spray foam, paint, caulk, or other materials, to interior rooflines, walls, subfloors, and other surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, power washing, or removing old paint or other materials
- Repair or replace damaged or deteriorated insulation, including but not limited to use of insulation vacuum
- Follow technical data sheets and blueprints to ensure proper application of coatings
- Ability to perform frame carpentry and metal stud framing as needed is ideal but not required. Ability to install drywall and perform finishing work is ideal but not required
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffold, and operate scissor lift while wearing PPE and carrying loads up to 100 lbs.
Skills:
- Ability to efficiently manage a team of happy insulators with positive and engaged client relations, focused on customer care and high productivity
- Strong knowledge and experience in construction, painting, coating, insulation, and spray foam application
- Proficient in insulation and spray foam application of homes and buildings
- Ability to read and interpret job details and technical data sheets accurately
- Detail-oriented with excellent craftsmanship skills
