Job Description

Summary:
The Lead Insulation Technician is responsible for overseeing residential weatherization projects, ensuring that they are completed with the highest quality work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the insulation team. Drive small box truck. Overseeing the retrofitting work for single family residential buildings, taking responsibility for safety, craftsmanship, and quality. Interact with homeowners. Scan job site for all possible safety hazards. Make sure that customer's property is properly covered/protected during the install. Maintain company tools and equipment. Maintaining knowledge and adhering to all Lantern Energy policies and procedures established by the company, including but not limited to those in the employee handbook.
Qualification & Requirements:
Must hold a valid driver's license and pass background check. 2 years minimum construction or insulation experience. Current BPI Analyst and Envelope Certifications Required. DOE Home Energy Score Assessor ID a plus. High School Diploma or GED. Must work well with others.
