In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation systems across a variety of and residential projects. Your expertise will help improve energy efficiency, comfort, and safety in building environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with skilled professionals in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting where your craftsmanship makes a tangible difference. Responsibilities Measure and cut insulation materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and coverage. Install various types of insulation including fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and Nuwool in walls, ceilings, attics, basements, and other building areas. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sealing gaps with caulking. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and adapt techniques as needed for different building structures. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate insulation work with framing, roofing, drywall, HVAC systems, and other trades. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating to assess material needs and project scope accurately. Skilled in using hand tools such as knives, tape measures, chisels, and caulking guns; adept with power tools including drills, saws, and spray equipment.
