Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insulation Installer
  • Supervisor to lead and oversee insulation installation projects on commercial and residential construction sites, as well as perform installation tasks alongside the team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and proficiency with various tools and techniques. This role involves coordinating teams, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols to deliver efficient and high-quality insulation solutions. Prior experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry is highly desirable. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects while demonstrating technical expertise and leadership capabilities. Responsibilities Lead and supervise insulation installation crews on multiple construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine insulation requirements and installation procedures. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to facilitate seamless workflow and project completion. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers or mechanical fabrication tools to install various types of insulation materials effectively. Perform or oversee tasks related to caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, HVAC ductwork insulation, and other related construction activities as needed. Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting site inspections, and addressing hazards promptly. Manage material inventory, order supplies as necessary, and ensure proper storage of tools and materials on-site. Skills Extensive knowledge of construction trades including carpentry, roofing, masonry, drywall finishing, HVAC systems, and framing. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., hammers, saws), power tools (e.g., drills, pneumatic tools), and specialized equipment for insulation installation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and system integration within building projects. Experience with construction estimating processes is a plus for project planning purposes. Familiarity with plastering techniques, caulking applications, trim carpentry, stucco work, concrete finishing, metal stud framing, airless paint spraying methods. Knowledge of safety standards relevant to construction sites including OSHA regulations. Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
