Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Insulation Installer and play a vital role in enhancing building efficiency and comfort! In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials across residential, commercial, and industrial construction sites. Your expertise will help improve energy performance, reduce noise, and contribute to sustainable building practices. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to secure insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, basements, and other areas Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Prepare work sites by cleaning surfaces, framing areas if needed, and ensuring proper access for insulation application Collaborate with carpenters, drywall installers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes Perform quality checks to ensure insulation is properly installed without gaps or compression for optimal performance Maintain safety standards by wearing appropriate protective gear and adhering to OSHA regulations at all times Requirements Proven experience in construction site work or related fields such as framing, drywall installation, roofing, or masonry Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., utility knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) safely Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, metal stud framing, caulking techniques, trim carpentry, stucco application, and concrete finishing is a plus Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings relevant to insulation installation Knowledge of fabrication methods related to construction materials and techniques Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in confined spaces for extended periods Join us in creating energy-efficient buildings while advancing your career!
