Job Description
An Insulator's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implementation of all rules and safety procedures and company/site specifications
- Installation of all types of insulation materials
- Determining the type of insulation, insulation size, thickness and position of insulation, under direct supervision of the lead man
- Assisting in the installation of sheet metal and fabrication of insulation materials for the job
- Reporting any completes and reviewing records
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Performing various clean-up activities
- Observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment An Insulator must have all tools required for job task or specific tools as per sites requirements. Physically, workers must be able to:
- Working in all weather conditions
- Stand or walk for long periods
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
- Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds
- Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and carry tools and equipment
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. This position is dayshift Monday
- Thursday 7:00am
- 5:30pm.
