Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as an Insulation Installer and play a vital role in enhancing building energy efficiency and comfort. In this energetic and hands-on position, you will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help create sustainable, well-insulated environments while working safely and efficiently on diverse construction sites. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship. Duties Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool according to project specifications and blueprints. Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation aligned with design plans. Use hand tools (e.g., utility knives, tape measures, caulking guns) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) to perform installations efficiently. Assist with construction management tasks including site inspections, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures. Coordinate with other trades such as carpentry, drywalling, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry to ensure seamless project progress. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for material handling or site preparation. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly while following safety protocols at all times. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of insulation installation techniques is preferred. Hands-on experience with construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus. Skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively are required. Knowledge of related trades such as drywall finishing, framing carpentry, roofing, or masonry enhances your versatility on the job. Experience operating heavy equipment or performing construction inspection tasks is advantageous.
