Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Spray Foam Technician and play a vital role in delivering high-quality insulation solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for applying spray foam insulation using specialized equipment to improve energy efficiency and building performance. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills, work on diverse construction sites. Responsibilities Operate spray foam equipment safely and efficiently to apply insulation according to project specifications. Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, masking surfaces, and ensuring proper ventilation before application Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine the correct insulation approach and materials needed Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to assist with surface preparation and finishing tasks Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of insulation in framing, metal studs, or masonry structures Conduct quality checks during and after application to ensure consistent coverage and adherence to safety standards Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections Not looking for entry level position. Looking for someone that can lead a crew and get the job done efficiently and effectively. Requirements Prior construction site experience with exposure to framing, roofing, drywall, or related trades Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Experience using hand tools such as caulking guns, carpentry tools, or spray equipment Mechanical knowledge related to spray foam machinery operation and maintenance Ability to work at heights on scissor lifts, scaffolding or ladders safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with excellent safety awareness and communication skills Ideal candidates will possess construction skills along with a solid understanding of various building techniques. A background in carpentry, insulation, or construction painting is advantageous. Mechanical aptitude for fabrication will help you excel in this role.
