Pay Range:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary Chaparral is seeking motivated and reliable Mechanical Insulators to join our team across multiple locations. This role involves working on commercial and light industrial projects, installing insulation on HVAC ductwork, piping systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. This position is not limited to a single job sitecandidates must be comfortable traveling within their region, with occasional extended travel as needed. Key Responsibilities Install insulation on HVAC ductwork, piping, plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment Work with a variety of insulation materials and applications Follow project specifications, safety guidelines, and quality standards Collaborate with team members and project leadership to complete projects efficiently Maintain tools and ensure job site readiness Qualifications Required Reliable transportation Ability to pass random drug testing Ability to work effectively in a team environment Must have basic tools, including tool belt, tape measure, hand tools, knife, end cutters, aviation snips, dividers, and scissors Preferred Experience in mechanical insulation (commercial or light industrial preferred) At least 1 year of construction experience Valid drivers license Experience with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing codes
