Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Insulator Installer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing thermal and acoustic insulation materials across commercial building projects, ensuring energy efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, construction site experience, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while developing valuable skills in insulation installation and related trades. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install various insulation materials including fiberglass, foam, and mineral wool in commercial structures such as walls, ceilings, and floors Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine insulation specifications Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform installation tasks Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and plastering techniques to ensure proper sealing and finishing of insulation areas Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, roofing, HVAC, and masonry teams to coordinate installation efforts Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Conduct inspections of installed insulation for quality assurance and compliance with project requirements Assist in fabrication of custom insulation components as needed based on project specifications Support the preparation of estimates related to insulation scope of work when required Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on insulation installation or related trades Knowledge of construction estimating processes is preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in insulation installation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with building materials such as stucco, metal stud framing, concrete finishing, masonry, and airless paint spraying Mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems or fabrication skills is advantageous Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures on construction sites Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality control Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join our team as a Commercial Insulator Installer if you are motivated by craftsmanship excellence and eager to contribute to impactful construction projects.
