JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a full-time, Anchorage-based Light-duty Fabricator to join our growing team. Under limited supervision, the Light-duty Fabricator will perform in-shop preparation tasks to complete sign projects, including but not limited to CNC of aluminum, PVC, and acrylic sheets, bending of coiled metal into letter shapes, installation and wiring of LED modules, and sign assembly or other duties as assigned. Depending on experience, the successful candidate will work under direct supervision, but once trained will be expected to work independently or in concert with other positions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(and other duties as assigned) To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with training and support. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Review approved drawings and art proofs for each installation, removal, or repair projects Gather raw materials for CNC or processing Prepare materials for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and masking Maintain a positive, clean, organized, and safe work area Maintain automated equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and light calibration Perform minor assembly tasks, such as sanding, LED installation, low voltage wiring, and documentation Fulfill all other duties assigned as assigned by leadership EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required Valid Alaska Driver's License required Ability to operate a forklift is desired but not required 2+ years experience with computer-aided manufacturing Prior sign industry experience highly desirable, but not required Ability to self-motivate Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other employees Strong focus on safety and quality COMPENSATION
