Structural Fitter We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining structural components in various construction and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately assemble structural components. Fit, align, and weld structural steel and other materials according to project requirements. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform fitting and assembly tasks. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to structural fitting and assembly.Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Structural Fitter or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of structural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Knowledge of welding, bolting, and fastening techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documents accurately. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various environments. Relevant certifications or training in structural fitting, welding, or related fields are preferred.
