Structural Fitter

We are currently seeking experienced Structural Fitters for a full-time position at a local manufacturing facility in Semmes, Alabama This is a steady, long-term opportunity with consistent hours.

Position Details Schedule:

Full-time, long-term Job Responsibilities Fit and assemble structural steel components according to blueprints and drawings Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and weld symbols Measure, cut, align, and fit materials to precise specifications Work closely with welders to ensure proper fit-up prior to welding Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and accurately Ensure work meets quality and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Requirements Previous structural fitting experience required Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and tape measure accurately Must be able to pass a drug screen Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a production environment Strong attention to detail and workmanship Preferred Qualifications Fabrication shop or plant experience Experience fitting structural steel or heavy components OSHA or safety training a plus Why Apply Steady, full-time work Local opportunity (no travel required) Consistent schedule and long-term potential
