Full Job Description Summary of Duties:

Welding/Installer/Parts Fabrication duties to support tank fabrication operations by assisting with installing piping and fabricating parts for tanks. Performs basic maintenance and inspection of equipment. Requests supplies as needed. Keeps work area clean and in neat condition. Practices safe work habits, participates in required safety training and programs. Has good communication skills and ability to work with others.

Qualifications:

1. Able to read simple blueprints and tape measure. 2. Able to mig or stick weld. 3. Able to follow instructions and be self-motivated enough to work with little supervision.

EDUCATION

Requires high school diploma or GED equivalency; simple reading and arithmetic such as addition and subtraction of whole numbers and reading decimals; work with simple charts, drawings, and measuring equipment.

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least three years of successful continuous employment in a commercial or industrial setting where the candidate would have learned to be productive.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Moderate physical effort; requires standing for entire shift; may lift up to 60 lbs. throughout the day; good eye and hand coordination; good visual acuity in order to perform most tasks; must be able to climb, stoop, and bend to get up and down from forklift, and perform various outside activities throughout the warehouse, yard,shop.
