Job Description Position Summary:
The Fabricator is responsible for interpreting technical drawings and assembling metal components according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprint drawings to obtain necessary information. Determine correct weld types and material thickness requirements based on specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Perform welding using appropriate techniques and equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment. Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings. Knowledge of welding processes and metal fabrication techniques. Experience working with various metal thicknesses. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing or workshop setting. May require standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
