The Scaffold Foreman / Erector will play a key role in project execution, working closely with superintendents and project teams to deliver reliable access solutions. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of scaffold laborers and erectors on commercial or industrial job sites Oversee the erection, modification, and dismantling of various scaffold systems, including frame scaffolding, rolling/Baker scaffolds, and stair towers Act as the Competent Person for scaffolding, identifying hazards, performing and documenting daily scaffold inspections, and stopping work when unsafe conditions are present Ensure all scaffold work complies with OSHA scaffold standards (Subpart L) and company safety policies Read and interpret scaffold plans, layouts, or project directions to ensure proper setup and configuration Verify that scaffolds are properly erected, braced, and capable of supporting intended loads Coordinate with superintendents and project teams to meet project schedules and requirements Promote and enforce the use of proper fall protection systems and safe access requirements Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation as required Qualifications Proven experience in scaffold erection, dismantling, and modification on commercial or industrial job sites Strong working knowledge of OSHA scaffold standards (Subpart L) and safe work practices Ability to act as a Competent Person for scaffolding, including hazard identification, daily inspections, and work stoppage for unsafe conditions Experience leading or directing a crew of scaffold laborers/erectors Proficiency with various scaffold systems, such as frame scaffolding, rolling/Baker scaffolds, and stair towers Ability to read plans, layouts, or follow project direction for scaffold setups Knowledge of proper fall protection systems and safe access requirements Experience ensuring scaffolds are properly erected, braced, and load-capable Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with superintendents and project teams Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment Must be able to demonstrate Competent Person-level knowledge during interview or field evaluation

Prior experience as a scaffold foreman or lead erector
Preferred:
Current or previous scaffold or safety certifications/training
Preferred:
Experience with inspection tracking or documentation systems (such as Lightning or similar)
Preferred:
