Transmission Case Technician Position Type:
Full-Time Position Summary The Case Prep Technician is responsible for conducting inspections and refurbishment of transmission cases, housings, and pans. This role involves cleaning, repairing, and preparing components to meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with tools, following procedures, and performing physical tasks in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect transmission cases, housings, and pans for wear, defects, or damage Clean and prepare all components, including threads and surfaces Perform refurbishment processes including painting and weld repair when required Follow detailed operating instructions, maintenance guidelines, and procedure manuals Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Requirements and Qualifications Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment required Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documents and procedure manuals Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Preferred Skills Experience with welding or metal repair techniques Knowledge of transmission components or automotive systems Familiarity with inspection and quality control processes Benefits Competitive pay Weekly paycheck Health, dental, and vision insurance Opportunities for skill development and on-the-job training Stable, team-focused work environment Take the next step in your career with a company that values precision, reliability, and growth.
