ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use of power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work
• Rolling stock repair and maintenance
• Support equipment and building installation projects
• Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed
• Able to read electrical schematics
• General understanding of electronic sorting equipment
• Follows and ensures adherence to established Hilltop Ranch, Inc.. local, state, and federal regulations and requirements as well as food safety, sanitation, food production and nutritional guidelines.
• Establishes and ensures adherence to procedures and standards, which are in agreement with these regulations, requirements and guidelines.
• Ability to follow, comply and enforce all safety policies and procedures
• Responsibilities are not limited to the above mentioned and may include assisting other departments within reasonable and related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Experience in electronics
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to follow and comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug test

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is helpful
• Ability to work with groups-team oriented personality
• Organizational skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Will occasionally stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, taste and smell. Will frequently sit and occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel crouch or crawl. Must use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously. Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently. Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 60 pounds frequently. Must lift with arms up to floor to waist, waist to shoulder 60 pounds. Must be able to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend, up to 12 hours/throughout the shift. Ability to strenuous flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently (15 flexion/minute).
