This role supports structural steel installation, rebar placement, and field fabrication work on active construction sites. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working safely in physically demanding construction environments and is comfortable reading plans and performing structural installation work in the field.
Pay & Schedule Pay:
$24-$28/hour

Full-Time Key Responsibilities Place and secure rebar in horizontal and vertical formwork Read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, and technical drawings Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of structural steel and ironwork components Use hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment safely and effectively Support fabrication and field assembly work as needed Provide direction and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced crew members Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely when required Follow all job site safety procedures including fall protection and scaffold safety Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Ironworker on construction sites Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment Mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication and assembly processes Basic math skills for measurements and layout work Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment safely Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Ability to work in physically demanding environments including heights and outdoor conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience with rebar installation and structural steel work Experience mentoring apprentices or leading small crews Experience with plasma cutters, press brakes, calipers, or micrometers Benefits Medical Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Match Work Environment This role operates on active construction sites and may include exposure to outdoor conditions, heights, heavy equipment, noise, and physically demanding work.
