Full Job Description Job Purpose:
Fabricate, construct or manufacture materials from raw inventory into WIP and finished goods.Tasks:
Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring tools. Align and fit parts according to specifications using hydraulic struts or jacks. Move parts into position manually or with pallet jacks and forklifts. Set up and operate fabricating machines such as saws, brakes, shears, grinders and drill presses to cut, bend, punch, drill or otherwise form metal components. Lay out and examine metal stock or workpieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met. Lift or move materials and finished products using pallet jacks, forklifts and carts. Clean materials for fitment using air guns, acetone, surface pads or shop towels. Remove sharp edges using hand files, portable grinders, portable drills, deburr tools and drill presses.Work Activities:

Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly. Assemble temporary equipment or structures. Draw guide lines or markings on materials or workpieces using patterns or other references. Inspect materials for defects or impurities. Lay out parts to prepare for assembly. Lift materials or workpieces manually or with other lifting equipment. Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications. Mount attachments or tools onto production equipment. Mount materials or workpieces onto production equipment.Work Content:
Physical Demands The employee is to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, talk, listen, regularly stand, use arms to reach, use hands and fingers to handle or feel. Lifts Weight or Exerts Force Work Environment The employee is to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and frequently up to 50 pounds. Visions Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The employee will regularly work near moving mechanical objects and directly work with hand tools; including but not limited to air nozzles, impact guns, pliers, hammers, and mechanical devicesQualifications:
