Job Description

A Welder's Assistant supports certified welders by preparing materials, organizing the workspace, and maintaining equipment. The role ensures high workflow efficiency and strict adherence to workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Preparation:
Cut, grind, bevel, and clean metal pieces and work surfaces before welding begins.
Site Management:
Keep the workspace clear of safety hazards.
Direct Assistance:
Assist the welder with clamping, tacking, holding materials in place, and arc/thermal metal cutting.
Drawing Reading:
Review basic technical drawings and take exact measurements to ensure project accuracy.
QualificationsExperience:
0-2 years of hands-on experience in a workshop or heavy industrial environment and basic knowledge of hand tools.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long hours.
Technical Aptitude:
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication processes.
Communication:
