Structures Technician
Job Description:
Western Aero Repair is seeking a skilled Structures Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing work orders and performing general repairs on fixed-wing aircraft structures, ensuring all work meets FAA regulatory, contractual, and Company requirements. Primary Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on fixed-wing aircraft structures and components
Repair sheet metal, structures, surfaces, and assemblies to regulatory standards
Demonstrate mechanical skills, aptitude, and a high degree of attention to detail
Identify, navigate, and apply technical data, repair manuals, and maintenance manuals
Complete work order paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain part separation, work order segregation, and correct part tagging
Inspect own work prior to inspection buy-off
Comply with all FAA regulatory requirements and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements
Demonstrate a commitment to safety of flight through adherence to industry regulatory, customer contractual, and Company policy requirements

Job Requirements:
A&P License, or two to three years' applicable work experience in the aviation industry
Sheet metal and/or mechanical skills background preferred
Successful completion of DOT/FAA Pre-Employment Drug Screening
Pass standard DoD-mandated background check
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English per 14 CFR Part 65.71(a)(2)
Applicants must be U.S. citizens
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
