Job Summary Loenbro is looking to hire iron workers with experience in the structural steel erection industry. Loenbro offers a competitive hourly rate and benefit package. Candidates must be able to pass the company pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Essential Job Responsibilities Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Guides members, using tag line to guide them into position. Pull, push, or pry steel members into approximate position while member is supported by hoisting device. Forces members into the final position, using turnbuckles, crowbars, jacks, and hand tools. Aligns bolt holes in steel members using drift pins or spud wrenches. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work sites.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Welders must be able to pass AWS D1.1 and

AWS D1.8

Test. Journeyman shall have all required tools for the trade. Read and interpret basic blueprints.

Preferred:

Previous experience safely using a variety of hand and power tools including turnbuckles, crowbars, jacks, and other tools. Must be dependable and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Work Environment:

Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures. Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment. Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels. Limited working surfaces. Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors. Exposure to areas with limited visibility. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
