Precision Weld Repair Technologist — Power Generation

Your impact Execute TIG-centric repairs and manufacturing for turbine/generator components.

Deliver superior surfaces:

~75% grinding and blending; ~25% precision welding. Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble complex parts with accuracy. Use precision measurement tools to verify compliance with technical specifications and blueprints. Prepare parts and perform media blasting to achieve required finishes. Collaborate with job site managers to align on priorities and schedules. Operate forklifts and cranes in accordance with safety practices. Practice 5S-style housekeeping and support other shop functions when needed. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred; background in Power Generation preferred. Available for significant mandatory overtime during busy cycles. Ability to set up/operate welding equipment and weld delicate components with minimal distortion. Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings and technical specs. Strong mechanical aptitude; clear verbal and written communication. Proactive in anticipating change and organizing work to maintain efficiency. Sound organizational habits and attention to detail. Physically able to stand and walk for long periods; frequent bending, reaching, and lifting required. Committed to customer and ARMS safety requirements; OSHA 10 preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to pass drug test and background check.
