Job Description:

As a Metal Building Erector with 7-M Construction, Inc., you will be a key player in the construction of metal buildings, contributing to the successful completion of projects in the Tampa Bay Area. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in metal building erection who can uphold our commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Steel Building Erection:

Safely and efficiently erect metal buildings in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Sheeting Walls and Roofs:

Expertly install wall and roof sheeting to provide weatherproofing, insulation, and structural integrity.

Trim Work:

Perform finishing and trim work to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of completed metal structures.

Blueprint Reading:

Accurately interpret and work from construction blueprints, ensuring precise execution of design plans.

Safety Compliance:

Maintain a strong dedication to safety, adhering to OSHA standards and promoting a culture of safety on the job site.

Certifications:

Possession of relevant certifications, including OSHA certifications or forklift certifications, is a plus.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough quality checks and inspections to ensure that work meets or exceeds industry and company standards.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with project managers, fellow team members, and subcontractors to achieve project goals and timelines.

Operation:

Operate construction equipment, such as forklifts, as necessary to support the construction process.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in metal building erection. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and plans. Strong commitment to safety and comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards. Ability to operate construction equipment (forklifts, aerial lifts, etc.) is advantageous.
